MN Midwest Regional Meet CANCELLED.
Please see the following information from the Meet Director.

Coach,

We were notified today by the University of Minnesota that all on-campus gatherings of 250+ have been cancelled so we are officially pulling the plug on the Midwest Regional Swim Meet. Please make sure to relay this message to your swim families as soon as possible. We are currently discussing the refund process for team and unattached registrations and I will have more info regarding that in the coming days. Any apparel orders that were placed will be credited within 5-7 business days. Pre-order spectator passes and SHOUT-OUT orders will be refunded as well and I will contact each person who placed orders individually. Please tell your families not to contact us if they placed orders as we will be reaching out to them.
There is a possibility that we are able to reschedule at a later date but this has only been discussed preliminarily and I will keep everyone updated. I will most likely be sending out a survey to each coach asking different questions on how and when we could make a rescheduled meet work.
Thank you so much for your interest in attending our meet! This is devastating news to us as we love to administer this event and value the opportunity to see our participants compete every year. If you have any questions/comments/feedback please let me know as critical feedback is always appreciated by our organization.

Thank you and please stay safe!

Bobby Strickland
Program Director

Posted today you will find MYAS Midwest Regional Meet information and event file. NLAC will need your entries by February 26th as this is a first come first serve meet with a 1300 swimmer entry cap. Please look the information over closely as there are numerous changes. The age up date of the meet is the 1st day of the meet; March 28th. Code of conduct will be moved to an online signature system. Since the payment is a flat $40 per swimmer, NLAC will need swimmer payments by March 3rd. Every swimmer must submit a qualifying time that was achieved in a meet during the 2019-2020 season, season ending August 2020. (NLAC submits proof of time for all swims with our entry).
